A New Year Visit to the ER

Published by Allen at 6:59 pm under News

This morning around eight thirty Sarah was laying on my stomach and she begin to have a febrile seizure and her temperature was 103. We call 911 and in a few short mintues the EMT’s were here. She begin to cry while I was on the phone with the dispatcher and we both thanked God the moment she started crying. There is nothing worse then seeing your child in such a state of hopelessness. My heart was sunken the whole time my daughter was having her seizure which felt like forever but maybe lasted a min to maybe two mins. After arriving to the hospital they gave her some Mortin, chest x-ray, IV, and some blood work. The blood work came back perfect while the chest x-ray showed possible atypical pnuemonia. So the doctor decided to put her some strong antibotics to knock it out as soon as possible. After about four hours in hospital she was released and has a follow up on Monday at her doctors. Please pray that her body will fight this virus quickly.
